Love Walk for Housing

Our annual Love Walk for Housing is back and our community and workforce need your support. The housing crisis on Cape Cod is worse than ever. The pandemic and the subsequent booming real estate market displaced many of our local families, and the reality is that most year-round workers can no longer afford to live here, and seasonal workers cannot find housing. Cape Cod depends on these essential workers to keep our community thriving. These workers are our parents, families, seniors, restaurant and grocery staff, emergency responders, and more. Waitlists for these critical programs and services continue to grow and many in our community are facing the possibility of homelessness.

The Love Walk for Housing is our largest annual fundraiser for housing rental assistance, emergency financial assistance and childcare programs. We walk to raise critical funds for our families facing financial crisis, homelessness and the need for affordable childcare. Together we can continue to change lives — one child, one family, one home at a time!

Walkers will depart from The Children’s Center in on Tuesday July 14th at 9:00 AM and walk to the First Congregational Church in Harwich Center for a light breakfast.
