Libby Arnold Stevens Emergency Assistance Program
The Libby Arnold Stevens Emergency Assistance Program provides emergency assistance to residents of Barnstable County who are experiencing a temporary financial crisis.
Stabilizing year round residents through one-time emergency assistance for families and individuals on Cape Cod who are experiencing a temporary financial crisis.
Individuals and families helped by the Libby Arnold Stevens Emergency Assistance Program do not receive cash – payments are made directly to their landlord or service provider.
The program provides one-time emergency financial assistance for qualifying needs such as:
Housing – Rent or mortgage
Utilities – Electric, Gas, Oil, Propane
Step 1: confirm that you match these basic criteria:
- You have a year round lease or mortgage for a property in Barnstable County which is your only residence
- You are experiencing a qualifying* temporary financial crisis (*to be determined by HECH Staff)
- You have not already applied to and received funding from this Fund
Step 2: complete and return the application to: HECH, PO Box 638, West Harwich, MA 02671
